Welcome
This is a new blog for the professional side of my life, and particularly for issues relating to file formats, validation and archiving. I'd tried to create a similar blog earlier on an internal Harvard blog site, but ran into technical problems and discovered there's no real support -- I'm currently locked out of that blog and can't find the key.
Stuff which I expect to post here includes news about the areas just mentioned, and about JHOVE, the validation software on which I am currently working.
