TIFF and PDF/A

There's a fascinating discussion on the TIFF mailing list over the relative merits of TIFF and PDF/A for long-term archiving. It hasn't yet shown up on the April archive, but should eventually appear there.

JHOVE and Dspace

There's some new information available on integration of JHOVE and DSpace. DSpace is a joint project of the MIT Libraries and Hewlett-Packard for developing digital repositories.
